The web 2.0 technology was getting these elementary school teachers attention. These teachers just realized web 2.0 was a new way to interact with their learning. Actually, students were highly participate when something was using the web 2.0 technology. In that case, web 2.0 inspires people to be more productive and creative. I wonder what kind of affect will web 3.0 produce. On my second thought, Web 2.0 did really entertain us a few things, and google was one of them. Anyway, let the fun begin.

Real-time communication in needed for the web.
Similar to the stock market, people want real-time update from those social network website, such as Twitter, Facebook, and Myspace. Noting is more important than the stock market crashing when you want to hear comments posted on your social network account, enthusiasts are all over it with this new feature. Maybe we should have every thing in real-time, train arrival time, traffic light, take out order, and etc.... If everything that have to wait provide a real-time, then we should save a lot of time from waiting, you will do something else instead of waiting.

3D Web from Google and FireFox
From my previous post, I mentioned 3D camera and this one here was about 3D web. It seems like Google was trying again to move us toward the 3D world. This was not the first time introduction from Google, but now is the best time to move us forward because the technology and internet connection speed had improved dramaticaly over these years. When I looked at it, it felt like you were playing videogames or something similar to the Second Life. As a web designer, this might be the next generation website you are going to develop in the near future.

Google two new search options
Google came up with two new search methods, on images and news. This time Google were trying to read your mind, not exactly true but it felt like it. These new two methods let people chose what they found on the search result, once you made your choices on those result then google will narrrow it down for you. Same thing when you search for news, this would make it easier for students to do their research on Google. To be exactly, Google was trying to improve there interactive with their users, which became more user friendly.

The first 3D HD camera from Panasonic
This is a new invention from Panasonic, 3D effect on your home TV screen. That is an awesome news for 3D lover. Nowadays, people have high expectation on multimedia, Internets, computer applications, games, even sound effect. They are all heading toward to the 3D world. In my personal opinion, 3D is like a sweet and colorful candy that every baby can't resists it. Same thing for the adult, we like the 3D interface and they are amazing, popping virtual world. However, I think the Web is moving toward that direction too, but in the meantime, the plain view is still satisfying people needs, no complain yet.

SimCity's Will Wright: Web intersect into our real world.
"Wright pointed to SimCity and services like Google Earth as opening up new ways to view information that is otherwise hard to wrap our minds around." As programmers were trying to transform games environment into reality applications, which helped people gained more interest on it. Moreover, students would feel more energize by those catchy games related design. I think it's a new generation of learning. Plain old textbooks will be eliminated toward the future. That why more and more children laptops will be up on the shelf.

IE8..! Will it keeps Mircosoft as the King of browser?
People were saying IE8 did improve in some way, but not good enough to get people attention for switching back. In the browser war, Microsoft had lost large amount of share to the competitors. Every time when most people lost something, people will try to gain back what they lost. Same thing happened to Mircosoft IE browser, they tried to work something out and pulled more tricks under their sleeve. As a web designer, we should all welcome them and treat every browsers as they were the King of browser because the browser war never end. People use all kind of browsers. But it's also good to have competition or their would not be any improvement.

Is God on the World Wide Web?
Finally, a website for people to confess. The name of this site is SecretTweet, and the creator name is Kevin Smith only 21 years old from West Virginia. It is a site that let you say it out loud "freedom of text" without the need of showing your identity. It's good to start young, never say too young. This website is creative for being the first one in this new category, and it is a good image for all the young adults out there.

Bespin, a new web tool from Mozilla.
I have found an article about friendly web-based code editor in an open standard browsers. The tool is call Bespin, by Mozilla. It is a new technology that gives web developer a boost on coding in a handy way, without the degrade of the richness in a desktop editor. Not only that, Bespin also provides a 24 hours support. This tool is great for travelers and also for beginners to start with. As a student, this is really a great way to start because you don't have to spend the money on an expensive editor software. More over, this would speed up the progress of your learning and it's free of charge too. This might be the next great web tool.
